This instructed class focuses on developing a portrait from life in graphite or oils. The pose is established on the first session of the month and continues for the next 3 sessions for a total of 12 hours. Students begin by executing an accurate linear drawing and proceed to render the form, section by section, by observing and understanding how light falls on the model. Classes are held at the historical site, Vizcaya Museum & Gardens. Price includes entrance fee and model cost.
